Title:Adventures of SandDude, TheGenre:Platform
Developer:Scott Piper and GopusYear:1999
Description:An ok platform game, but very short, and containing few notable bugs. The game only contains two easy level and as third level you get a room with "THE END" written in it. It seem like something packed in a hurry. Nice graphics and a potential platform engine. Worth being checked out, but way to easy and short. Minimal Sound Blaster sound effects.

Title:Adventures, TheGenre:Platform
Developer:TMBYear:1999
Description:A below average platform game featuring poor controls and clumsy gameplay. The game features relatively average graphics, nice presentation and amusing design. It doesn't seem to be completely finished, despite the fact that nothing of this is mentioned in the game's readme file. The game comes with minimal Sound Blaster sound effects.

Title:Ahib el Mushman II - Building TroubleGenre:Platform
Developer:Pc72Year:2002
Description:A weak platform game with too many technical imperfections (flickering, poor keyboard handler). The graphics are ok, but rather monotonous and the gameplay is average. The game features 100 levels, but all easy and all after level 5 are randomized and look very similar.

Title:Commander Keen 7 - Build 16Genre:Platform
Developer:Kevin WellwoodYear:2002
Description:This is not a fan made episode of Commander Keen, but almost an EXACT copy of Commander Keen 4 (it lacks some features, actually). While I appreciate the designer for creating a powerful platform engine, I see no sense in playing this game since there is the original Commander Keen 4. Both games are available for free and are DOS based programs. Anyway, the main purpose of this game was to create a basis for a possible fan-made episode 7. The extra download is the original installation program.

Title:CrystalGenre:Platform
Developer:SingsongYear:2001
Description:A very good ASCII (text-based) platform game. It features 20 levels, cutscenes (progressive story) and bosses. Very challenging. The controls are also good for a text game (you can jump), but they are still not smooth enough so you might find the game frustrating to play.

Title:Cyber Chick BetaGenre:Platform
Developer:James Robert Osborne (WisdomDude)Year:2004
Description:Final demo of an exceptional platform game featuring an excellent engine, brilliant graphics (but somewhat uneven in quality) and very good music and sound effects. The gameplay is also very good, but I did find the game very difficult so beware. Huge amount of locations, enemies and bosses. Sadly, it looks like the development on this game was abruptly canceled leaving many locations and aspects of the game unfinished/untested. Still, the top quality of the work done so far makes this demo worth being downloaded.

Title:FoXGenre:Platform
Developer:George Gardiner & Steve McAuleyYear:2001
Description:Excellent platform game with great graphics which are, sadly, mostly taken from other games. Still, it's all compiled very nicely. Fox features 13 levels, story, virtual GameBoy Color you can play between levels, excellent Sound Blaster music and sound effects and very good gameplay. One of the best platform games in QBasic, but very difficult.

Title:Kamikaze Aliens VIIIGenre:Platform
Developer:Philipp Lenssen (Jester)Year:1997
Description:A very poor platform game. The movement in the game is tile-based, and the game doesn't have a speed reducer. Because of that the game plays very poorly with a slowdown utility (which is needed). Beside that, Kamikaze Aliens VIII is very badly designed, and I'm not sure if it's playable at all.

Title:PhatmanGenre:Platform
Developer:QBlueSoftYear:1998
Description:A below average platform game that's all about collection coins, jumping over lava and avoiding enemies. The graphics are below average and the resolution is 640*350. Almost poor and there is very little of it. Tricky game physics (slow acceleration). The game does feature 3 HUGE and very challenging levels. The great thing is that Phatman features a very nice save game option which allows you to save a game on any position. Poor presentation. Only if you are looking for a hard-core, old-style platform game. You might need a slowdown utility with this game. I didn't, but I haven’t noticed any delay routine in the source code.
