Title:Armageddon VIIGenre:Adventure
Developer:Mike WnukYear:1998
Description:A mediocre adventure game with uneven quality of the graphics. The characters look poor while the tiles look good. No "character walking" animations. Tile by tile movement and scrolling. Uninspired story and confusing dialogues. The game features some RPG elements. Armageddon VII doesn't feature sound or music.

Title:Day Of The PIdiotGenre:Adventure
Developer:Johan De RuiterYear:2000
Description:Day Of The PIdiot is a mixture of adventure and puzzle genre. I can't call it a puzzle game since it involves using actions like "Look At", "Get" or "Use" with various objects and places in the game (point & click). On the other hand, the game is filled with various puzzles you need to solve, mostly based on math. Interesting game, but with really badly composed graphics which makes it look very cheesy. It features a bad combination of photographs and poorly drawn graphics. If you like math problems, download this game.

Title:GAIA CravingGenre:Adventure
Developer:WOPR 2K (na_th_an)Year:2000
Description:A demo of an excellent platform/adventure game. Very nice graphics, animation and Sound Blaster music/sound effects. This demo only features the story intro and one level, but I still recommend it. Let's hope we'll see a final version one day.

Title:Haunted HalloweenGenre:Adventure
Developer:Jason JacksonYear:1996
Description:A very poor first person (seen through the eyes of the game character; scene by scene movement) adventure game. Your play the game by typing in the commands. While the graphics are ok for graphics made with QBasic drawing statements, the gameplay is very poor. The parser is absolutely horrible and the game is very short. The story is somewhat interesting, but the end disappointing.

Title:Johnny Abbot's Sex Adventures I Genre:Adventure
Developer:Bulma Produktions Year:2001
Description:A pornographic adventure game. It features nice graphics, well compiled with photographs of nude women, and Sound Blaster sound effects. I found the gameplay doubtful and a bit annoying, but that could just be me. The game is consisted of approaching girls, teasing them to the climax and then penetrating them. I failed to reach that part. Interesting. If you are into that kind of content, you'll definitely like this game.

Title:Johnny Abbot's Sex Adventures II Part 1&2Genre:Adventure
Developer:Bulma ProduktionsYear:2000
Description:Sequel to Johnny Abbot's Sex Adventures I. Also a pornographic adventure game. Actually, this sequel is two games, but you can play the second part of the sequel only if you have the end password from the part one. This sequel features more characters and more adventure elements, but equally tricky gameplay. I just find the "teasing" part too difficult. Extra download is the part 2 and it's a 2965 KB big file.

Description:A terrible text-based adventure game. The entire gameplay is based on making a right or wrong choice (two options). It's short and there is no a save game feature. Terrible game development and terribly written game. I'm not giving it 0 only because I've reserved 0 for unplayable games.

Description:A very nice mini-minigame that combines platform and adventure genre. Lala is a wizard apprentice who lives in the forest and has to go every day to her master's house. This game only features two levels and few puzzles, but the graphics and the game engine are excellent. Worth being checked.

Title:Lost 2 ver.1.1 DemoGenre:Adventure
Developer:Groovy Concepts LTDYear:1999
Description:Interesting demo of an adventure game. Most of the game is composed with ASCII characters, but some parts of the game, like cutscenes, are not which makes the game's graphical design a bit unbalanced. The designer should have stick with the ASCII (text-based) graphics. The gameplay is quite good. The characters are funny, but not realistic. It all feels too much like a joke. Due the shortness of the demo and unbalanced quality of the graphics, I can't give this demo much more. Still, the designer shows a lot of potential.

Title:Portal of worlds 2Genre:Adventure
Developer:Daniel ErikssonYear:2000
Description:Almost equally poor game as the first part. Also a first person adventure game (seen through the eyes of the main character) and on each location you can do 3 or 4 actions (press a number 1 to 4). None of these actions can kill you or similar nor you can do anything more complex but press the available numbers. The player simply needs to visit each location in the game and press all the available numbers in them. The game lacks any challenge at all. Title:Sir Chomps-A-Lot Episode 1Genre:Adventure
Developer:BattleCraft99Year:1999
Description:A very poor text-based, adventure/role playing game. The game doesn’t feature a parser but a character-based input where the player, for example, presses "t" to take ANY available item in the current room or "x" to examine the current location. No flexibility or ability to type in words. RPG-like battles are present in the game, but they are very limited. No save game feature in the game while there are quite few ways the player can die. Very short game. Interesting story and average room descriptions.

Title:SporeGenre:Adventure
Developer:Mike SnyderYear:1993
Description:Spore combines break-out type of gameplay and IF (text adventure game). A really bizarre combination. Sadly, the arcade parts run too fast on modern PCs so you'll need to use some kind of slowdown utility or DOSBox to play the game with proper speed. So to like this game you must like both text adventure games and break-out type of games. The graphics during action parts are in EGA mode and nothing special. The game only features PC Speaker sound effects.

Title:Void, TheGenre:Adventure
Developer:RibbonSoftYear:1999
Description:An excellent adventure game featuring pixel-based moving and scrolling (Zelda style). Not a typical point & click adventure game, though a mouse is necessary when using objects and few other tasks. The graphics are good, but there are many places/tiles that could have been done better. During the game night and day exchange which is very cool. Many locations and puzzles and a funny story. Good story development. Recommended! Only background MIDI music is supported. This version does not feature the entire game (all locations), but it was released as a complete game and the user supposed to download the missing part of the game sometime near in the future (I failed to find their site on the net). Have in mind this was said in 1999 so I doubt the missing part was ever completed.

Title:WaterQuest Legend 1Genre:Adventure
Developer:Mike SnyderYear:1992
Description:A cool Zelda-style action/adventure game. You play the role of Prince Ralum in his search of the LifeLake. Prince Ralum was a prince who doubted his ruling abilities and wanted to find the fabled LifeLake in order to cure his old and sick father, the king. The game features screen by screen movement and average EGA graphics. It's a mediocre-sized game which involves battling monsters and finding and using many objects in order to complete the game. The action part of the game is somewhat weak (outdated), as the game was coded quite early in the QBasic game design history (created in 1992; revised in 2001). Also, the adventure part is limited in a certain way. The game doesn't feature real dialogues, just events that are triggered and friendly characters (which are never seen but hidden in shops/houses) saying different things after a certain object is bought or given to them. Still, these flaws are hindered by excellent gameplay. WaterQuest features many carefully designed dungeons to explore, interesting puzzles, and overall excellent flow. A forgotten QBasic gem. You will most likely need DOSBox to play the game, but that emulator is recommended as you can control the game speed easily, which is somewhat cumbersome to set otherwise.
