Title:P.R.O.G.U.E.Genre:RPG
Developer:2098 SoftwareYear:1998
Description:An excellent ASCII graphics (text-based) RPG featuring background music and very good gameplay. I disliked the designers using common graphics for battles, shops and some other things while the rest of the graphics are consisted of ASCII characters. Maybe some people like this kind of mixture, but I don't. If you are going to make an ASCII graphics game then stick with that kind of graphics. Other than that, a very appealing RPG. MIDI background music.

Title:Pac-Classic Beta ver.0.2Genre:Action
Developer:Phillip Jay CohenYear:2000
Description:A very nice pacman game that emulates the look and the gameplay of the 1980th original very well. Even those beepy sound effects are there. Since this is a demo, it's quite limited. It only features one map and the game does not increase in difficulty as you advance. So this is mainly for curious people and not for those who are looking a good pacman game to play.

Title:Pac-Clone 2 ver.2.0Genre:Action
Developer:Nuno FreireYear:2000
Description:An ok pacman clone featuring big levels and scrolling, but not full screen. Tile by tile movement and scrolling. In Pac-Clone 2 the player is being chased by one ghost through the level. What is interesting is that the player can monitor his progress (where is he and the ghost and where are the blobs he needs to eat up) on a mini-map. The graphics are ok, but I really disliked the fact that the designer used some graphics and fonts which are not his and did not credit them. The game contains only 3 levels, each with a different tileset. Pac-Clone 2 is very nicely designed with nice menus and fadein/fadeout effects. Excellent game for relaxing.

Title:Pac-ManGenre:Action
Developer:KedjikeenYear:1996
Description:Another QBasic pacman game. It features quite poor graphics (enemies are small squares), but the gameplay is ok. What is really bad about this game is that enemies can pass through the wall (stupid). Otherwise, this game would get a higher score. There are couple of sloppy mistakes in the code.

Title:Panic ViciousGenre:Action
Developer:HURYear:1998
Description:A very addictive and fun game similar to pacman, but in Panic Vicious you need to use jumping pods to elevate yourself on the higher levels of the stage. Sadly, the game features quite poor graphics (bizarre and sloppy style) and low technical perfection (no movement animations, jerky movement and flickering). Still, the gameplay overcomes these flaws. Nice Sound Blaster music.

Title:Park Fighters 2Genre:Action
Developer:Roger BushYear:2000
Description:A very poor fighting game with terrible gameplay and controls, but with nice graphics. The worst aspect of this game are the controls which are based on the INKEY$ statement, so the game is pretty much consisted of you holding the punch or kick key and hoping your punches will overcome the opponent's. Single player mode only (with a story and progress).

Title:Ped Xing's QuestGenre:RPG
Developer:TyposoftYear:2002
Description:An excellent action adventure game. Not really a RPG, but Typosoft guys call it a RPG. If you ever played God Of Thunder, this game uses the exactly same concept/gameplay. The game world is consisted of single screen locations. The gameplay features real time battles (different spells you can use and monsters summon), single screen puzzles (getting from one side of the screen to another by pushing stones, etc.) as well as adventure puzzles (talking to characters, exchanging objects). Excellent graphics and excellent design. A relatively large game. I was unable to test the sound and music. It's powered by DS4QB so it's very unlikely you will be able to play the game with the sound turned on in Windows 2000/NT or Windows XP. Highly recommended! Title:PhatmanGenre:Platform
Developer:QBlueSoftYear:1998
Description:A below average platform game that's all about collection coins, jumping over lava and avoiding enemies. The graphics are below average and the resolution is 640*350. Almost poor and there is very little of it. Tricky game physics (slow acceleration). The game does feature 3 HUGE and very challenging levels. The great thing is that Phatman features a very nice save game option which allows you to save a game on any position. Poor presentation. Only if you are looking for a hard-core, old-style platform game. You might need a slowdown utility with this game. I didn't, but I haven’t noticed any delay routine in the source code. Minimal Sound Blaster sound effects (only two in-game sounds).

Title:PONG II: Corporate EmpireGenre:Action
Developer:Budfish SoftwareYear:2001
Description:Sequel to PONG: Battle Royal featuring better graphics, tournament mode, ship (paddle) modification (ability to modify/buy new weapons, shields and engines), better options (option of choosing points to win and kills to win) and slightly better gameplay. Still, the gameplay is not that good. Enemy AI is almost perfect so the only way to beat the opponent is to hope for the flaw/bug in the AI to happen (I’ve noticed it and it happens really rarely) or to kill the opponent which takes a lot of time and is annoying and frustrating. Killing the first opponent was a drag. I can’t image the next opponents. Having in mind the improvements and some nice graphic effects I'm giving Pong II this generous score, but don't forget the doubtful gameplay. You have been warned. The game doesn't feature any Sound Blaster sound effects or music.

Title:Power, TheGenre:Puzzle
Developer:Davey W. TaylorYear:1999

I've played another game with a similar concept - Stone Age. Basically, in The Power your character can only slide from wall to wall and your goal is to collect all the hearts present in the level.
