The player can only earn kills by destroying enemy ships and exit from the game when had enough. The game also features different weapons, powerups and a water pool in the bottom of the arena map. | Description: | A poor space shooter. This is one of those QBasic games that simply got outdated. It might have been something special when it was released (in QBasic world), but today it's not. The biggest problem of Red Baron is its keyboard handler (based on the INKEY$ statement) which makes controlling the ship very difficult and frustrating. Also, the game is jerky, tends to stop during explosions and makes the battle with enemy ships very annoying. On the other hand, it does feature a nice menu, instructions, illustrated story and ending. | | |||
